SCIENTIFIC STUDIES ON PLANT FOR CARE PROSTATE HEALTH
DIFFERENT SCIENTIFIC STUDIES ON PLANTS USED IN MOST NATURAL TREATMENTS FOR PROSTATE:
EPILOBIUM:
It is a plant of the family of Enoteráceas commonly found in European mountains or northern Asia. It has a rigid stem that can measure between 70cm and 1 meter tall, its flowers have four sepals and four petals pink. With outbreaks salads and other prepared plant used for medicinal purposes.
Its mode of action, to a lesser extent-is similar to Dutasteride: inhibits the production of dihydrotestosterone by blocking the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase type I and II.
Testosterone-through becomes enzymes- several different hormones. Inhibitors of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors (finasteride and dutasteride) prevents the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), leaving on a 'spare' body testosterone. The problem is that this could become excess estrogen causing an imbalance in the testosterone / estrogen ratio in our body.
When our body has an excess of estrogen, it is possible to have one of the least desirable conditions in man: gynecomastia (enlargement of the mammary glands).
This is where comes in Fireweed, which also inhibits the enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen (aromatase) maintaining proper hormone balance. Some people use Epilobio to prevent the possible side effects of Finasteride and Dutasteride.
Its active ingredients are flavonoids, phytosterols and macrocyclic ellagitannins. The plant is used as anti-inflammatory, to treat diarrhea, gastroenteritis, stomatitis, gingivitis and pharyngitis. It is also known for its good results in cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia and following the latter began to prove to combat androgenic alopecia.
Overall, DHT blockers help stop hair loss. That's why many people experience with them before they have been FDA approved.
Dutasteride is a clear example.
* Several studies demonstrate the interesting properties of this plant: Improves immune system, is antitumor, antibacterial and antiviral and antitumor lymphocytes strengthening phagocytes. Inhibits 5-alpha reductase and aromatase, without the negative effects of hormone preparations as Combodart Fenestaride and, in short, everything a wonder plant.
PYGEUM AFRICANUM FOR BENIGN PROSTATE HIPERPLASIA .:
SUMMARY: A standardized preparation of Pygeum africanum may be a useful treatment option for men with urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia. However, the reviewed studies were small, were of short duration, additional placebo-controlled trials are needed, as are studies comparing Pygeum africanum with active controls that have convincingly shown to have beneficial effects on lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia. These trials should be of sufficient size and duration to detect important differences in clinically relevant endpoints and use standardized urologic symptom scale scores.
Pygeum africanum prostate cancer.
SUMMARY: Ethanol extracts of P. africanum have antimitogenic effect (inhibition of proliferation) in prostate cancer cells and the epithelial cells of BPH. This effect is associated with inhibition of the mitogenic action of EGF, which was accompanied by a reduction of cells that enter the S phase of the cell cycle.
For these studies, we believe interesting to include these two plants in treatments for BPH, prostatitis and prostate cancer in the most appropriate dose for each case.
